All of the images in our gallery can be supplied as rolled photographic prints. You can purchase a digital file and produce small prints yourself, but we recommend having us supply larger print. We use the full resolution, 21 megapixel files to produce photographic prints inhouse.
File Preparation
Our background in professional wide format printing ensures the best possible print quality. Over ten years of working with digital files has allowed us to develop a process that produces a print quality far greater than one would expect from a digital file.
Each files is individually edited using Adobe Lightroom and then selectively sharpened using photoshop. On average we spend 15-20 minutes perfecting your image before we print.
Paper
We use Epson Professional 260gsm Lustre Photographic Paper, which produces the best possible results when combined with the 11 ink Epson HDR inkset.
This media offers enhanced definition, extended tonal range and the richest colours for your print.
Everything in our workflow is optimized to produce the best possible colours, and quality for our customers. Our printers produce a colour range far greater than most photo labs, and each file is edited using a colour managed workflow.
Printer
Printers have come along way in the past decade, allowing colours that once where impossible to produce to be printed. Our latest addition is a massive Epson 44” 9900 11 colour printer. More info
The colours produced by this printer are far more vibrant than most professional monitors can display. The screen you view our gallery on probably displays 70% of the colours that can be produced by this printer. And that’s assuming that you have calibrated it correctly. Epson have long been the leaders in professional inkjet printer, and we have used them extensively for this reason. The professional inkjet printers are not to be confused with home office printers which use inexpensive inks. The professional series of printers use archival inks that cost over $450 per colour, and can produce prints that last over 200 years!
